Case Discussion

Bifid rib, also known as Luschka’s forked rib, is the most common rib variant characterized by division in its anterior portion. It typically involves the 4th rib (incidence: 3rd/4th > 5th > 6th > 2nd). It is an asymptomatic anomaly and is often discovered incidentally with little clinical significance.
