Thickened, irregular cortex is seen in bilateral mesial temporal lobes with crowding of gyri and ill-defined grey-white matter junction.
Cerebral parenchyma is unremarkable elsewhere.
Case Discussion
Thickened, irregular cortex in bilateral mesial temporal lobes with crowding of gyri and ill-defined grey-white matter junction is consistent with bilateral mesial temporal polymicrogyria.
Mesial temporal location is far less common than perisylvian but is reported.
