The ultrasound examination of the urinary bladder has revealed the presence of a single echogenic structure that produces posterior acoustic shadowing, which is suggestive of a bladder calculus. The calculus measures approximately 2.1 cm in diameter and is situated in the posterior wall of the bladder.
Case Discussion
The ultrasound of the bladder shows bright echoes within the bladder lumen, which correspond to the bladder stone. The size and number of stones, their location, and their morphological features are assessed on ultrasound 1.
