Presentation
Asymptomatic patient. During preoperative exams for the treatment of breast cancer a lesion was identified in the base of the right hemithorax.
Patient Data
Scout and tomographic acquisitions in mediastinal and pulmonary windows before resection of the lesion, showing a mass in the posterior pleural base of the right hemithorax with homogeneous density and smooth wall.
Chest radiography performed 2 months after resection of the lesion, showing complete removal of the mass and a small pleurodiaphragmatic scar at the site.
Case Discussion
Histopathological report after the resection confirmed the hypothesis of bronchogenic cyst.
