Known case of diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, and hypertension who presented with pruritus.
Patient Data
Oval mesenteric mass with irregular surface contours, results in adipose tissue and adjacent vascular structure retraction without signs of vascular infiltration. The lesion is enhancing. Multiple small lymph nodes seen around the lesion
Liver contains multiple focal hypodense masses.
Case Discussion
Typical CT appearance of a mesenteric carcinoid tumor with classic desmoid reaction. The focal hepatic lesions representing metastases. The hepatic mass was biopsied and was consistent with a carcinoid tumor metastasis.
