Lobulated altered signal intensity heterogeneous lesion with multiple small cystic areas within the body of left lateral ventricle. Lesion is closely adherent to septum pellucidum, mildly splaying it towards right side. Mild dilatation of left lateral ventricle is seen. No extra-ventricular extension of lesion seen.

On post-contrast scans, mild heterogeneous enhancement of lesion seen with non-enhancing cystic areas.

Partial atrophy with mild hyperintensity and loss of internal architecture of right hippocampus is seen.

Case Discussion

Typical location and imaging features suggest the possibility of central neurocytoma with right mesial temporal sclerosis.
