The CT scan demonstrates:
- right frontal hemorrhagic contusion
- left parietal subgaleal hematoma
- pericallosal well-defined lobular mass (5.4 x 4.4 x 4 cm) of fatty density with punctate peripheral calcification in keeping with pericallosal lipoma (tubulonodular type)
- dysgenesis of the corpus callosum with a racing car appearance of the lateral ventricles on axial images and colpocephaly (dilatation of the trigones and occipital horns)
Case Discussion
CT features of a frontal cerebral hemorrhagic contusion in a patient with corpus callosal dysgenesis with pericallosal lipoma (incidental findings).
