Planning CT images for a right C6/7 transforaminal injection show moderate to severe narrowing due to a disc osteophyte complex. A 25 gauge Quincke targets the ventral mid transverse process of the C7 vertebrae and injection of iodinated contrast extends both extraforaminal and epidural. The steroid injectate of 10mg dexamethasone and 1mL 1% lidocaine was then given.
Case Discussion
Technically successful transforaminal epidural steroid injection.
