Presentation

Increased head circumference.

Patient Data

Age: 1 year
Gender: Male

Caudal descent of the cerebellar tonsils through the foramen magnum 10 mm below the McRae line on sagittal sequences. Dilated third and lateral ventricles with mild transependymal edema in keeping with associated obstructive hydrocephalus.

No syrinx of the cervical spinal cord on the sagittal T2 sequence.
