Presentation

Headaches with scoliosis.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

Caudal descent of the cerebellar tonsil through the foramen magnum 9 mm below the McRae line on sagittal T1 sequence. Dilatation of the central canal of the spinal cord extending from C2 level up to the lower thoracic spinal cord in keeping with a syrinx.

Thoracolumbar scoliosis of right-sided convexity with no vertebral anomalies.
