Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

The cerebellar tonsils are low-lying (12 mm below the McRae line) in keeping with a Chiari type I malformation with an associated cervical cord syrinx seen as an intramedullary cystic lesion of low signal on T1WI, high signal on T2WI with no enhancement, extending from C2 to C7-T1 level.
