Diverticulum along mid-CBD, measuring approx. 18 x 24 x 18 mm. 2 - 3 calculi are seen in its dependent part. Proximal CBD / CHD are dilated, measuring approx. 10 mm in maximum diameter.

No obvious intrahepatic biliary radical dilatation is seen in the present scan.

The cystic duct is possibly inserting adjacent to the superior aspect of the diverticulum.

The gall bladder is distended with no obvious calculi/wall thickening or pericholecystic edema.

Mild high confluence of CBD and MPD is seen. Otherwise, MPD is unremarkable.

Case Discussion

The findings are suggestive of type 2 choledochal cyst.
