Choledocholithiasis and cholelithiasis (MRCP)

Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Recurrent right upper abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

Dilatation of the intrahepatic and extrahepatic biliary ducts is seen (common bile duct 15 mm).

There is a 6 x 15 mm signal void stone along with the common bile duct proximal half portion next to the insertion of the cystic duct.

The gallbladder also contains sludge and a few gallstones.

There is also 25 mm abnormal signal mass lesion along with splenic parenchyma midpole.

Case Discussion

Findings are consistent with cholelithiasis with choledocholithiasis and biliary duct dilatation.
