Case Discussion
A clavicular fracture is a break in the collarbone, which is also known as the clavicle. Clavicular fractures are common injuries that can occur from a fall, direct blow, or other traumatic event to the shoulder. They can happen to people of any age but they are more common in children and young adults.
On a radiograph, a clavicular fracture can be classified based on the location of the break and the pattern of the fracture. This fracture is classified as Robinson type 2B2.
