5 minute stroke protocol ultrafast MRI shows a small but unequivocal focus of restricted diffusion, bordering the left cerebellar vermis. It is not yet matched on FLAIR.
Case Discussion
Rapid stroke protocol MRI excels at the early depiction of small ischemic foci. The absent FLAIR signal abnormality indicates that this is indeed an acute ischemic lesion.
