Second transitional period. Loss of alveolar bone around 55, caries on its distal and occlusal face: responsible for the abscess. Caries on the distal portion of the crown of 65. Agenesis of 12. Incidental finding of dens invaginatus on 22.
Case Discussion
According to Oehlers’s classification, this is a type II dens invaginatus: dental sealing was performed and follow up on the pulp status was established.
Extraction of 55 and conservative treatment of 65 were performed.
