Acute diffuse alveolar hemorrhage with a diffuse infiltrative opacification pattern in a patient with Goodpasture syndrome.
Right internal jugular venous catheter, appropriate position without complication.
Case Discussion
This patient has a known diagnosis of Goodpasture syndrome and did not have any septic markers at the presentation. Therefore, the lungs bilateral opacifications were presumed to represent alveolar hemorrhage.
