A high T2 signal lesion straddles the left middle frontal gyrus. The lesion is seen measuring about 2 x 1.5 cm. The lesion show high signal 'bubbly appearance' on T2, low signal on T1 and no discernable contrast enhancement.
Case Discussion
These are characteristic appearances of a DNET.
The patient went on to have a resection. Histology confirmed the diagnosis of dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumor.
