Cortical based lesion measuring approx. 16 x 18 x 15 mm (AP X TD X CC) is seen in left posterior temporal lobe. It is causing mild scalloping of inner table of adjacent temporal bone. It appears hyperintense on T2, FLAIR with no obvious diffusion restriction or enhancement on post contrast study.

Case Discussion

Histopathological correlation is not available. However, it is a  typical bubbly cortical based lesion, characteristic of a dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumor (DNET). FLAIR features of the lesion are characteristic, showing mixed signal intensity with bright rim sign and partial suppression of some of the "bubbles".
