CT shows pituitary fossa filled with CSF, enlarged, and replaced by CSF. Without causing displacement of structures, an infundibulum is observed through the sella turcica filled with CSF.
Case Discussion
The patient had a medical history of a headache without other associated pathologies, so it was decided to perform computed tomography showing an empty sellar fossa, filled with elongated CFS crossed by infundibulum without displacement of adjacent structures.
Empty sella turcica is usually an incidental finding, as it happened in our case.
