Case Discussion

An endometrial polyp is a benign nodular protrusion of the endometrial surface into the uterine cavity. Polyp consists of irregularly distributed endometrial glands and stroma. Polyps commonly present as abnormal uterine bleeding, and ultrasound is commonly the first investigation for their evaluation 1.

Diagnosis can be challenging and even overlooked on transabdominal scans using grayscale imaging. However, the pedicle artery sign or single feeding artery sign using Color Doppler can be a good guide to diagnosis. Sonohysterography could be a good diagnostic technique 2.
