Focal enlargement of the endometrial cavity at the fundus by an ovoid soft tissue lesion with a heterogeneous hyperechoic texture similar to endometrial echogenicity. It has a smooth regular outline and a feeding artery through the posterior fundal wall.

Case Discussion

Transvaginal ultrasonography (TVUS) is the modality of choice for endometrial polyps detection, best done in postmenstrual period 1. It usually appears as focal enlargement of endometrial contour. On color Doppler, the feeding artery sign is highly specific for diagnosis.
