Case Discussion

The most common presentation of patients with implant rupture is pain followed by asymmetric contour and lumpiness.

Mammography is the first investigation however it is beneficial for only extracapsular implant rupture. Normal mammograms do not rule out implant rupture. Further evaluation with ultrasound and MRI is preferred.
