Extensive, bilateral, symmetrical calcification of subcortical white matter, dentate nuclei, basal ganglia, thalami, corona radiata, and brain stem.
Two, round-shaped, CSF density lesions with incomplete hyperdense rims are noted in the right and left occipital regions measuring 18 x 18 mm and 13 x 13 mm in size respectively.
Case Discussion
Imaging findings are characteristic of Fahr's disease as detailed above.
