Comminuted fracture of the upper third of the femoral shaft is present with medial displacement of the largest fragment and lateral angulation at the fracture site.
Post-treatment follow-up x-rays from two years after the injury.

The fracture of the mid femur is maintained in good position with an IM nail with proximal and distal locking screws.
The fracture remains clearly visible indicating delayed non-union.
