Painful right little finger after fall at jumping castle.

Patient Data

Age: 4 years
Gender: Male

A dorsomedially angulated and laterally displaced metaphyseal fracture of the proximal aspect of the fifth proximal phalanx is demonstrated.

Post-reduction and backslab

x-ray

There is significant improvement in the alignment of the fractured base of the fifth proximal phalanx.

Plain radiograph findings demonstrating angulated and displaced fracture of the fifth proximal phalanx of the hand in the context of trauma with improvement in alignment after reduction and application of backslab.
