Contusion of the lateral tibial plateau is noted.

A moderate amount of joint effusion is noted.

A fluid signal is seen surrounding the lateral collateral ligament suggesting a sprain.

Case Discussion

A flipped meniscus is a type of bucket handle tear in which a significant part of the meniscus flips and rests next to the anterior horn, resulting in an empty space at the donor site.
