Presentation

Headache and left eye proptosis

Patient Data

Age: 15 years
Gender: Male
ct

Expanded left frontal sinus with homogeneous low-density material extending to the left orbit with deficient superior orbital bony wall. 

Inhomogenous opacification with hyperdense materials with mucoperiosteal thickening involving the right frontal, both ethmoid, maxillary, and sphenoid sinuses most probably allergic fungal sinusitis.

Case Discussion

The features are representing the left frontal sinus mucocele with extension into the left orbital cavity resulting in mild left eye proptosis.

Additional finding of shows features of allergic fungal sinusitis.
