Asymmetrical atrophy of the left temporal lobe and hippocampus, giving a 'knife blade' sign, with hyper signal intensity on FLAIR images, probably due to gliosis, without significant frontal lobe atrophy, associated with dilatation of the temporal horn of the left lateral ventricle.
Unremarkable right temporal lobe.
No diffusion restriction.
