Gallbladder carcinoma

Large heterogeneous ill-defined mass arising from gallbladder invasion of the adjacent liver, right colic flexure, surrounded fat stranding consistently with gallbladder carcinoma.
Some lymph nodes are seen at porta-hepatis, para-aortic, left retroperitoneal space.
The hypodense hepatic masses are in keeping with metastases.
Serum CA 19-9 : 1000 U/ml
Case Discussion
Gallbladder carcinoma is more prevalent in older women and clinical presentation when in advanced stages. The most common histologic are adenocarcinomas (90%), and the remainder are squamous cell carcinomas.
