Right thumb trauma a few days back. Complaining of thumb MCP joint region pain on the ulnar side.

There is a bony avulsion of the ulnar collateral ligament of the thumb MCP joint. The distal half of the ligament is edematous. The adductor aponeurosis passes superficial to the ligament. There is no pseudomass formation. The radial collateral ligament shows a normal echopattern.
Case Discussion
The case shows bony avulsion of the ulnar collateral ligament of the thumb MCP joint. There is no Stener lesion.
