Presentation

Palpable painless mass in left gluteal region.

Patient Data

Age: 15 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

Well-defined hypoechogenic mass in the subcutaneous fat with a vessel coursing through it, otherwise scarcely vascularized on Doppler. Findings are nonspecific.

mri

Nonspecific moderately high T2WI well-circumscribed mass in the subcutaneous fat of the left gluteal region measuring 2.5 x 1.8 cm.

Case Discussion

Percutaneous biopsy revealed a typical granular cell tumor on morphology and immunohistochemistry.
