Avulsion fracture of the greater tuberosity at the supraspinatus tendon insertion site with underlying bone marrow edema.
Hyperintense signal area within the subscapularis and supraspinatus tendons consistently with partial-thickness rotator cuff tear.
Detachment of the superior labrum and biceps anchor from the underlying superior glenoid suggests superior labral anterior posterior tear type II.
Subdeltoid effusion as well as around the long head of the biceps tendon.
Case Discussion
MRI findings are in keeping with supraspinatus tendon avulsion fracture and SLAP tear.
