Bilateral multiple nodular subependymal lesions are detected along the lateral ventricles which have identical signal intensity to the grey matter on all sequences.
An arachnoid cyst is also noted at the posterior fossa.
Case Discussion
A typical case of bilateral subependymal heterotopia which is the most common type of grey matter heterotopia. The lesions are commonly seen along the trigones and occipital horns and follow the signal intensity of grey matter on all pre- and post-contrast sequences.
