Case Discussion
Osteochondral lesion of the knee is a localized abnormality of the subchondral marrow, subchondral bone, and articular cartilage.
It is a morphologic finding that may be seen in various conditions and that produces a scalloped defect along the articular surface of the bone.
An osteochondral defect can occur acutely or develop as a result of several chronic conditions
