Presentation

Left-sided breast mass lesion.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

A well-defined, soft tissue density lesion is noted in upper half of the left breast parenchyma. Significant surrounding stranding is appreciated. Overlying skin is relatively thickened, measuring up to 5.0 mm, however neither overlying skin nor underlying chest wall is invaded by mass lesion.

Two enlarged lymph nodes are noted in levels I and II, the largest one measuring 11 mm, SAD.

The right breast and axilla are within normal limits.

A tiny, sub-pleural calcified nodule is seen in the right middle lobe which is most likely granuloma.

Few atelectatic bands are seen bilaterally as well.

Case Discussion

CT findings of left-sided breast mass lesion which confirmed invasive ductal carcinoma on histopathology (cT2N1M0).
