Multiple punched out lucent lesions in the skull.
The large parietal bone lesion has a bevelled edge.
Case Discussion
The typical patient demographic and radiological appearances of Langerhans cell histiocytosis.
The skull is by far the commonest site in the skeleton representing half of all lesions.
The bevelled edge is near pathognomonic of this aggressive multisystem disease of young children.
