Presentation

Knee pain after twisting injury

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

MRI demonstrates a complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament, associated with depression on the lateral femoral condyle, at the terminal sulcus (lateral femoral notch sign).

Small radial tear at the junction of the anterior horn and the body of the lateral meniscus.

Bone marrow edema in the medial femoral condyle.

Moderate joint effusion.
