Presentation

Right-sided weakness

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Large area of acute ischemic infarction involving the left parietotemporal lobes and caudate and lentiform nuclei associated with effacement of the cortical sulci and left lateral ventricle. 

Hyperdense left MCA (especially, the M2 and M3 segments) is seen. 

Old ischemic infarction is also seen in the left posterior parietal lobe.
