Presentation

Family history ischemic heart disease.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male

Multiple sites of calcified and non-calcified plaques. Small calcified pleural plaques.

Fairly circumscribed fatty between the atria with internal septations, communicating with the pericardial fat.

Case Discussion

This is a case of lipomatous hypertrophy of the interatrial septum, which can be associated with cardiac rhythm disturbances.
