Diffuse cortical thickening with scanty shallow sulci and shallow Sylvian fissures. This is associated with reduced volume of the white matter of both cerebral hemispheres. No associated band heterotopia. Normal corpus callosum.
Case Discussion
Features that are suggestive of Lissencephaly (type I); pachygyria-agyria complex. Features presented are:

- shallow Sylvian fissures
- smooth cortical surface
- reduction in the number of gyri (pachygyria)
