Mandibular condylar process fracture

NCCT brain (bone windows) shows fracture of the left condylar process of mandible with mild inferio-medial displacement of the triangular shaped fracture fragment. Left temporomandibular joint appears dislocated.
Case Discussion
Mandibular fractures are commonly encountered in patients who present to the emergency department with facial trauma 1. The condylar process is involved in approximately 30% of mandible fracture cases. Condylar neck is considered the weakest area of mandible 1.
