A sizable oval-shaped subcarinal cystic lesion is noted with homogeneous fluid density content and a thin wall. It widens the subcarinal angle, indenting the posterior aspect of the heart compressing the left atrium and compressing the esophagus. No septations, calcifications, or solid component is seen in it.
Case Discussion
The mediastinum, especially in subcarinal position is a classic location of a bronchogenic cyst.
