Presentation

She had surgery for colorectal cancer.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female
  • Massive abdominal fluid

  • Marked hepatomegaly due to innumerable lesions concerning to metastases

  • Metastatic lesions of both adrenal glands

  • Also there are small peritoneal nodules typical to peritoneal carcinomatosis

  • Innumerable secondary lesions of the lungs

  • Secondary mediastinal lymphadenopathy with subcarinal enlarged lymph nodes together
    up to 4.5 cm

Case Discussion

Metastatic colorectal cancer. Most common sites of this type of cancer are liver, lung and peritoneum.  In this case there are innumerable metastatic lesions of the liver and lungs. Also there are bilateral adrenal metastases.

Unfortunately, the patient passed after three days.
