Absence of inner ear structures on both sides (complete labyrnithine aplasia).
Absent 8th nerves on both sides.
Both internal auditory canals are small/atretic and low lying in position, through which both facial nerves enters.

Michel aplasia is a rare developmental anomaly refers to the total aplasia of the inner ear.
Radiographic features include:
absence of bilateral inner ear structures (complete labyrinthine aplasia)
absent bilateral 8th cranial nerve
hypoplastic petrous apices
