The patient fell onto the right shoulder at school.

The site of fracture is seen at the mid-third of the clavicle. There is an overriding of the fractured fragments by around 7 mm. No other significant abnormality is seen. Managed conservatively with collar and cuff.

Follow-up radiograph 3 weeks later demonstrates callus formation is seen around the fracture indicating that the union is progressing. No other abnormality is seen.
Case Discussion
The majority of clavicle fractures are easily managed with a sling and analgesia.
