Chest XR performed to assess position of nasogastric tube (NGT).
NGT visible in the midline with the tip ending above the diaphragm in the esophagus.
Case Discussion
This case demonstrates incorrect NGT positioning, with the tip ending in the esophagus.
In most cases without contraindication, the NGT should be advanced further and a repeat CXR to reassess positioning performed.
