No clear separation can be seen between:
- Hamate and capitate
- Trapezium and trapezoid
- Pisiform and triquetrum
Case Discussion
Carpal coalitions are typically asymptomatic but can rarely result in wrist pain. Syndromic-associated fusions are quite often multiple in nature1, although in our case no definite syndrome has been diagnosed.
