Presentation
Known case of mantle cell lymphoma with recurrence in the nasopharynx.
Patient Data
Unremarkable scanned lower brain cuts.
Multiple bilaterally enlarged cervical lymph nodes are seen, the largest one in the right side at group II.
There is a large submucous mass seen in the posterior nasopharynx abutting posterior nostril suggesting relapse for further evaluation to exclude another possibility.
Enlarged thyroid gland with multiple thyroid nodules.
Marked Interval regression regarding the size of the previously noted posterior nasal pharyngeal mass lesion. The previously noted completely obstructed nasopharynx is aerated and patent in the current study.
Regression in the size of the previously noted few enlarged right cervical lymph nodes.
Case Discussion
A known case of mantle cell lymphoma under follow up that had relapsed with newly developed multiple cervical lymph nodes and a posterior nasopharyngeal mass.
