Case Discussion
Primary ossification can radiographically appear to ossify from multiple sites. Multiple ossification center is a normal variant and occurs frequently in irregular bones. The more commonly affected foot bones are the medial cuneiform and navicular. Its appearance can vary depending on the development stage. In most patients, radiographs of these patients become normal years later.
